Exploring the Hong Kong trail

Me and walking, we have a history. Not too long ago, I lost someone very important to me, and for a moment there I didn't dare to stop moving for fear of falling apart. I would always be on the move, the point was to always have something in my mind so I would keep moving forward. So walking was my best friend. It's therapy,it works. Trust me.

Lately & Today I needed some therapy.

Somehow a good pal of mine, Mark has decided to take on the HK trail and without knowing it I was dragged into it. We started at the peak on this fine early groggy morning.
We managed to accomplish 25 km (trail 1-4)in 5 grand hours. By the time we arrived at Black's link, I am sadly limping. Apparently I pulled a muscle but failed to recognize an injury. I am somehow always my own worst patient. Even up till now, I can't seem to straightened my leg. Luckily enough though, Mark seems to be suffering some unknown leg ailment (aging), so we decided to call it a day and ended up at Oolaa for lunch!

This according to Mark is just our warm up. I think it's called laziness.

Oolaa makes the best burgers in town.
