Best thing I've ever had to do.
On a fine day in Worb, I had the opportunity to tag along a Peter & Pamela's weekly hike. Boy, I've been thanking my lucky stars ever since!
Trudging for hours up the snow covered hills and climbing higher and higher beyond the clouds. Until suddenly, the sun shines...and all you see is brightness...oh what a feeling of lightness!

| Snow, snow everywhere! |
 |
| Walking this is pretty hard work! I was even sweating at some point, which to my mind didn't make sense as I have always affiliated snow with cold! |
 |
| Sea of clouds, what a sight to behold! |
 |
| Igloo! |
 |
| The right way according to Peter Sr is to have a bar of chocolate wedged in a bun. The Swiss way! Heavenly! (Admittedly I have adapted to this habit till now - chocolate bun!) |
The way down was so much fun! Sliding and falling into snow (on purpose even) made my day. I was soaking wet, my shoes were frozen but I was having so much fun I hadn't even realised that my toes were blue! Only Pamela noticed it after I had taken off the shoes and she realised the shoes were dripping with water! I still smile whenever I reminisce. I would never trade that one day for anything.
It was a perfect day.
I have fallen in love with snow.
