Of course I don't think biting an opponent should be allowed on the game, but I rather think too much hype was made on this. The punishments were exorbitantly higher than the problems acquired. There was no injury rather than a bruised arm. No open wounds. Now remember, we are still talking in the precinct of football right? Where tackles have lead to bloody open gash wounds on the face or limbs, concussions are pretty common, and even a broken leg or two?
And yet the perpetrators of the latter said offenses have been pretty much let off easier than a little bite on the arm? "People" really should prioritize.
Off the field, the mouth have been used for much worse...sometimes with even more serious repercussions.Yet, no one complains.
